Welcome to Inventory: a monthly column in which we take a moment to look back at the past few weeks and highlight articles that I have written that may be worth a second glance. From the archives of Optigrab, The Oscar Buzz, and CinemaBeach, the following is what I feel to be the Top 10 articles that I have written in any given month and feel the need to highlight. Also covered will be any known details on what will be coming up in the month ahead. So without further ado, let's take inventory and see what I have to say.

Comments: By now, it's likely that everyone who cares has talked your ear off about the new Paul Thomas Anderson trailer. But seriously, it really is amazing and funny.

Comments: After a rough start that resulted in me giving this series a skeptical review in a Channel Surfing column, I quickly came to like the romantic comedy satire that is probably one of, if not the, best new comedy series of 2014. Give it some time to grow on you and you will see how antihero characters can be done in a charming and inventive way.

Comments: In keeping with the tradition of The Oscar Buzz, I celebrated the anniversary the only way I know how: by running theme-appropriate lists. This time, a look at my favorite second features from various directors.

Comments: Gone with the Wind is one of the greatest epics in cinematic history and it only feels right that you see it on the biggest screen possible. This is a brief rundown of the film as well as some history and reasons that you missed out on quite an experience.

Comments: As we gear up for a fall of musicals that includes Annie and Into the Woods, a Belle and Sebastian-themed musical kicks things off with an amazing dose of charm. For those that can handle the twee, this is a rather enjoyable, unique and great experience.

Comments: With the upcoming release of Gone Girl, I look back on David Fincher's marketing campaign for The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo and why it is an impressive, unmatched feat. Even if the film didn't stick with you, Mouth Taped Shut likely did.

Comments: It is another season of Netflix's hit series that managed to get an Emmy and this time around, put itself in the ring for possibly one of the more important shows of this decade. With an amazing cast and excellent plotting, the show continues to impress, even if I suggest marathoning it instead of going week-to-week as I did, as it depletes some of its quality.

Comments: While there have been better albums out since, "American Idiot" is one that almost seems like a touchstone of a bygone era for me. This is more of a piece highlighting how I have grown in 10 years than actual critique of the album, but still, its use of a memory book is impressive enough.

Comments: This is a new column that I am starting with hopes of exploring Oscar campaigns that didn't quite deliver on their promise. This is hopefully a way to educate and give notice to the changing face of Oscars over the decades.

Comments: One week this September, the box office was the lowest it has been since Halloween of 1998. This is an observation on why that may actually be.
