Subplot of the Week: Holt and Jeffords (Terry Crews) go to his brother's (Jama Duff) house to watch the news when things get out of control at the precinct.
Best Joke: While on lock down, Boyle (Joe Lo Truglio) learns how to do Beyonce's "Single Ladies" dance. He is quickly accompanied by some prisoners who are locked up in a nearby room.
Culprit: Nobody. However, the powder wasn't dangerous, either.
Resolution: The powder proves to not be any issue. Peralta manages to control the precinct building with help from Santiago (Melissa Fumero) and turns everything around. Jeffords relates to his brother after they both begin to see Holt as some kind of jerk.

Verdict: Another really solid episode and a great use of the cast. While it is very much a Peralta in Charge episode, it also does capture some interesting scenarios using a vast array of supporting characters as they all have to deal with panic. Things work out, but it's also interesting to see how they go. Meanwhile, it is great to see Holt bouncing on a yoga ball and the Jeffords brothers bonding over stuff. A very enjoyable episode where everyone gets their own little moment while Hitchcock (Dirk Blocker) is locked outside. If nothing else, it proves just how well this show can handle doing episodes in limited spaces. Also, apparently everyone loves Something's Gotta Give. Who knew.
Rating: 4 out of 5
