The following is a list featuring all of the talented artists who have made the world of film, TV, music, and literature a far more interesting place for audiences to indulge in. While they are gone, they are surely not forgotten as long as their work lives on, entertaining generations to come.

Singer best known for the songs "Sunshine, Lollipops, and Rainbows" and "It's My Party" as well as an Oscar-nomination for songwriting for Fame.

Musician best known for his work in jazz music as well as being known as an innovator of free jazz.
